This message gives us a picture of God caring for His people, the meek, who will not miss out, but will inherit all that God has prepared for them. The wicked might display power and malice, but God is not frightened by them, on the contrary He laughs at their posturing, knowing their ultimate end.

Psalm 37:11-13 English Standard Version (ESV)
11 But the meek shall inherit the land
and delight themselves in abundant peace.

12 The wicked plots against the righteous
and gnashes his teeth at him,
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he sees that his day is coming.
