At times of natural disaster, we must remind ourselves that God is in control and still rules. There are no divine disasters. God has used apparent natural disasters to fulfil His greatest purposes.
Using the text in Matt I want to look at religion without Christ, and contrast it with the Mercy of Christ, climaxing in a fuller understanding of the Lord who loves us. Bible reading – Matthew 12:20-21

To see the true limits of the Christian message – there is only way to peace with God, and that has been fully provided by God, but there is a vastness in its application.
God is grace has provided all that we need for life and salvation; he leads us in life, but all too often we are not prepared to trust Him. He deals with us in grace, but at times we reap the consequences of our lack of faith
