Here are more details about our events leading up to Christmas this year.

Every Sunday we will have our usual services at 10.30 am & 6 pm (except for the 18th – see below). Pastor Andy will be preaching through a series from the Bible focussing on the Christmas story. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3 v 16

Saturday 3rd December – 8.30am at the chapel – a Men’s breakfast. Men and boys of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy a free cooked breakfast or cereals, etc. There will also be a short message on the theme of Christmas from Rev James Allan, pastor of Hebron Evangelical Church, Dowlais. Monday 5th December – 7.30pm at the chapel – our Christmas Women’s meeting will feature a talk on the theme of Christmas from Fiona Steward of Heath Evangelical Church, Cardiff followed by some Christmas nibbles!

Saturday 10th December – 2pm at the chapel – the return of our Christmas Family Fun event! This is mainly for the families of the children who come to our Friday and Sunday Rock meetings for primary school ages and Saturday BLAST and Sunday FAB for those of secondary school age. There will be a round robin of games for the family to try and score the most points on and prizes for the winners. There will also be a short message on the theme of Christmas and some Christmas cakes and nibbles.

Monday 12th December – 10.30am at the chapel – Coffee and Carols. We are delighted to have the return of our Christmas coffee morning! Come along for some free hot drinks and Christmas nibbles and to sing some well known carols around tables. There will also be a short talk on the theme of Christmas.

Saturday 17th December – 11am at the Kingsway shopping centre in Newport – join us for some Carols at the Kingsway. If the weather permits we may also go out to Commercial Street to carry on singing there.

Sunday 18th December – 5pm at the chapel – our annual church Carol Service where we will be singing some well known carols and hearing a message from the Bible from our pastor Andy Pitt. There will also be mince pies, hot and cold drinks and other Christmas nibbles afterwards.

Sunday 25th December – 10.30 am and 6pm at the chapel – our Christmas Day services for 2022. The evening service will be slightly shorter as normal as we realise people have many family commitments on Christmas Day. However, it is good to be able to gather together with the Lord’s people to worship Him on this special occasion!
